Dr. Angela Johansson

Dr. Angie Johansson is an osteopathic pediatrician.  She treats both type I and type II diabetic children using the eight essentials in her practice at Adelante Healthcare in Surprise, Arizona.

Dr. Johansson earned both Bachelors of Arts (BA) and Bachelors of Science (BS) degrees from Arizona State University.  Her BA degree is in Native American religion and it was during her research on Native American tribes that she first encountered the devastation diabetes can cause.

After finishing her osteopathic medical training at Midwestern University, Dr. Johansson completed a residency in pediatrics in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  During her training she spent extra rotations studying Pediatric Endocrinology. During this time, she worked with diabetic children with type I diabetes and type II diabetics as young as 4 years old.

As a practicing pediatrician, Dr. Johansson has been successful with curing pre-diabetes and type II diabetes by using the eight essentials.

Dr. Johansson loves cooking and follows a very low-carb diet herself.
